Ceiling Domes are similar to Ceiling Medallions, but they are larger, and are actually recessed into the ceiling. They are very effective in a Foyer, Dining Room, or Bath.  Recessed Domes
require 7 1/2" to 8 1/2" of
ceiling depth, so they must be planned for at the time of construction.
